Finally Home: Our First Morning at Bel Cavallo

This morning, for the first time, we woke up at Bel Cavallo.

No more driving back and forth. No more sleeping in borrowed spaces while the dust settled and the walls dried. We’re finally here — and waking up on the farm this morning felt like something out of a dream.

The windows filled with soft morning light. The air was still, the kind of quiet that holds promise. And just beyond the fence line, we watched as our neighbors grazed peacefully in the fields. It was a view that filled us with deep gratitude… and quiet anticipation.

We couldn’t help but picture what this same scene will look like when our horses arrive — when the paddocks are no longer empty, but alive with soft nickers and the sound of hooves in the grass. It’s a moment we’ve worked hard for. A vision we’ve held close through delays, renovations, and everything in between.

We’re not quite settled. The kitchen still isn’t finished. There are still boxes stacked and projects waiting. But for today, none of that matters. Today, we’re home — and we’re waking up in a place that already feels full of life, love, and possibility.

More updates to come as we settle in. But for now, we’re taking a quiet moment to soak it all in.
